The Music Palace/The Mix Palace

About Me

The Music Palace, located just 30 minutes from Manhattan, takes the art of recording, mixing and control room monitoring to the next level. This perfectly symmetrical control room has its large monitors bolted in 8 tons of solid concrete and utilizes hand-built, discrete Swiss Audio electronics built by the best ears in the business. This state-of-the-art monitoring system allows engineers to record and mix their music like never before. The control room and monitors are so accurate that there is no loss in translation from studio to your playback system so you will always be happy with your mixes when you play 'em at home, in your car or on your iPod!
A large live room supplements the control room - big enough to record a full band or even an orchestra. The studio also features two isolation booths so you can track a live band with as much or as little isolation as needed. An additional feature is the multi-channel personal monitor system installed in the live room. This allows each artist to tailor their own headphone mix to their liking, making tracking and overdubs a painless process
* The Music Palace is proud to announce we have implemented an all new overdub studio space (utilizing the large live room) allowing artists to continue recording and editing their overdubs at a lower rate. *
The Music Palace has been in business for over 30 years as a world-class studio and it's staff has over 50 years combined experience in production, recording, programming, mixing and all other facets of modern record production. It is our goal and mission statement to raise the level of sound and production quality available to independent bands regardless of their budgets.
