in general, stuff...thats interesting. Um, i really love art (esp. surrealist stuff) which includes both gawking in wonder and slapping some stuff together myself. I usually don't touch paint cuz I suck severely, but that only makes me appreciate the work of others more :) Yeah, I'm the sketching, stippling type o' gal...Literature (from thought-provoking classics, to scifi/fantasy novels) is an obsession, philosophy greatly intrigues me, and video games are awsome too, although despairingly out of reach for impecunious bums like myself. I play the violin every now and again and find fiddle and baroque pieces the best, though my sheet music collection has only an abundance of the latter. Cooking is also a big thing for me - I can spend a whole day in the kitchen. Most of my free time is spent just hanging out with friends...I cherish nothing more than a good conversation.

Sadness, scarab
with seven crippled feet,
spiderweb egg,
scramble-brained rat,
bitch's skeleton:
No entry here.
Don't come in.
Go away.
Go back
south with your umbrella,
go back
north with your serpent's teeth.
A poet lives here.
No sadness may
cross this threshold.
Through these windows
comes the breath of the world,
fresh red roses,
flags embroidered with
the victories of the people.
No.
No entry.
Flap
your bat's wings,
I will trample the feathers
that fall from your mantle,
I will sweep the bits and pieces
of your carcass to
the four corners of the wind,
I will wring your neck,
I will stitch your eyelids shut,
I will sew your shroud,
sadness, and bury your rodent bones
beneath the springtime of an apple tree.
