Hailing from Columbus, Ohio, The Shantee has gained a loyal fanbase by constantly touring the Midwest, and everywhere else from St. Louis to New York City. Their three records, Lands Unknown (1998), Hydration (2001) and Four Now (2003) have all received rave reviews. They have played with many national acts including Blues Traveler, O.A.R., Government Mule, Widespread Panic, Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, and Rusted Root.
