I'm a die-hard classic simpsons fan, although i couldnt tell you the last time i watched a new episode. Family Guy, King of the Hill, Futurama, South Park, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Da Ali G Show (I dont know if i've laughed so hard recently), Friends, Scrubs, Lost (up until i missed a few episodes and stopped watching, i'll buy the dvd eventually) Smallville (same as Lost)... I'm sure theres more.. I'm not a big fan of reality tv, tho i do get sucked in on occaision (I will absolutely not admit to what shows)... I think thats about it. Moral of the story I watch a lot more TV than i should.
I dont read as much as I'd like to, but my favorites are Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - Hunter S. Thompson (may he rest in peace), A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius - Dave Eggers, The Beach (i'm well aware of how much the movie sucked, the book is still an amazing depiction of paradise found and lost. Even more quickly than they achieved it did it all go to hell. ) - Alex Garland, Fight Club - Chuck Palahniuk, Midnights Children (Took me forever to finish, but well worth it) - Salman Rushdie, A Man in Full - Tom Wolfe, The Bonfire of the Vanities - Tom Wolfe, The Virgin Suicides - Jeffrey Eugenides, Freakonomics - Steven Levitt... Other than that i like most Dean Koontz, a bit of Steven King, John Saul, John Grisham, Michael Chrichton (did i spell that right?). Any reccomendations are welcome, i'm always looking for a good book to read.
My grandma & grandpa and Hunter S Thompson for completely different reasons.
