About Me

FAST PACED, INTENSE, EXCITING, PHYSICAL, HIGHLY SKILLEDRASCBall is a 6 on 6 competition played between two opposing teams, with 5 Floor Players and 1 Netminder per side. RASCBall OFFENSE: Goals are scored in increments of 1,2 or 3 points. A shot thrown is worth 1 point, a shot kicked (called a Boot) is worth 2 and a header is worth 3. Attempts to score goals are setup by various ball movements and blocking techniques. The range of offensive maneuverability is unlimited. Dribbling is allowed, but not mandatory, the number of passes are unlimited and player to player (basketball like) picks are allowed. RASCBall DEFENSE: Defense consists of modified basketball rules with limited physical contact. Tripping and excessive holding is not allowed, though hand checking and body checking are permitted. Each team has a netminder who is able to use any and all parts of his body to deny an opposing teams shot on goal. RASCBall TIME & MISCELLANEOUS: A full game between 2 opposing teams, consists of two 35 minute halves. The clock is continuous unless an injury occurs or circumstances warrant a stoppage in time.
