About Me
Born in CO moved to LA to go to USC. That's the short version. Want more?...I am interested in life. Im interested in different people and their different lives and Im interested in this amazing world. I love snowboarding because I love the mountains and I love surfing because I love the ocean. If snowboarding didnt exist, I would find another reason to be in the mountains, and the same goes for the ocean. I also really like riding a bike. I think that I like these things because I am really interested in harmony, balance and rhythm, hence, as you all know, I love music. I love how the emotion in each person performing/ recording it is essential to the overall feeling and emotion that it brings out in every person it affects. I love how it affects me. I really love the sound of a room filled with people as they scream in unison because of how the changing music affects them, sometimes that brings a tear to my eye. I love to travel and have tried my hardest to resist the pull of society to conform, but I have to admit I havent been able to take a real trip in a long time and I know that its because of car payments and rent and all of that and it makes me sad. Im interested in religion, all kinds. I was confirmed catholic, but have read and studied many including and especially those of the native people of North and South America and Asia, and I dont think I have it all exactly figured out yet but Im still learning. I think it all goes back to the balance thing. I love speaking Spanish although sometimes I get embarrassed about my accent. I like to read, but again, the need to hustle right now is getting in the way of two books Im reading right now. I do not like our current political situation and any body who believes that we are not he only country in the world knows what Im saying, but to some (the red states), ignorance is bliss (very scary). I need to get organized, I know, but sometimes I just want to put so much on my plate that I get all mixed up and It has been happening since I was a kid. I have problems keeping plants alive, but I love animals and kids. I love learning; I will always be a student of life. I love teaching and have taught surfing, snowboarding, 8th and 9th grade math and as much as I could to my two younger sisters. I love my family. I love my friends and the Sunday night ciphers. I like the Broncos; I love the Avalanche, which is hard living here. I grew up playing hockey and still do, but injuries prevented me from going all the way. I love Colorado and I love California. Right now, most of all, I love friends, old and new, good and bad. If you have said one word to me, you have impacted my life and those who have said more, have made more of a difference. Thank you all and see you soon.
