Daddy Ho! were born of a chance meeting in an Exeter public house. Bonding over a shared love of the pedal steel and Bruce Springsteen, Nathan and Jon - the nucleus of Daddy Ho! - decided it probably wouldn't be the worst idea in the world to start playing some songs together and, after many pints of real ale and not a few cocktails at some swanky wine bar, the two wayfaring strangers exchanged telephone numbers - and Daddy Ho! was borne.Just over two years later and the ranks of Daddy Ho! have been swelled by bassist Nicholas Rosier, guitarist Giles Woolley and drummer Joe Adams. Over a hectic summer, Jon plans to complete his doctoral thesis, whilst Nathan pursues a life of landscape gardening. Amidst these prosaic realities, the band also hopes to release a new record which they will promote during an extensive tour of UK festivals. .
