Music:
If I had to choose one, and only one, out of my 5 (or 6) senses I would pick hearing. I could imagine a world without sight, without taste, without scent, even without touch, yet a world without sound is unimaginable. Sure many people have lost their ability to hear, and I suppose I could live without it, I would just be miserable. Music is me, and I appreciate all of it. I'm also music romantic... as you should notice by this cheese filled paragraph. I can't help it... I just want to rock!
I hate listing bands because I always forget some, even my favorites. So lets just say i listen to everything but have a particular appreciation to "grunge" or whatever that rock was in the mid nineties... like toadies, blindmelon, stp, bush, oasis, and porno for pyros. and then i adore they might be giants, cake, citizen king, johnny socko, modest mouse, soul coughing, lucky boys confusion, and the presidents (what do u call them, rock?) . If ya just want to scream along or listen to the girls who tell it like it is like tori amos, poe, and the cranberries. oh and how i love thee punk emo pop stuff especially mxpx, green day, tsunami bomb, no use for a name, rancid, me first... and of course ludo, franz ferdinand, killers, and motion city soundtrack. Then theres the beatles, and elton john and snoop dogg. ok so i listed some bands... definantly no where near all of my favorites but it should give you an idea of the music i enjoy most.
Movies:
you suggest a movie, and I'll watch it. I mostly enjoy comedies, action, and horror flicks.
Television:
I heart monk, weeds, and Dexter. I am intrested in documentaries on murderers and psychopaths. I watch cooking shows for tips when I am wasting time before work. Oh and somehow I get hooked on Americas next top model when it comes on.
Books:
I read for entertainment, not knowledge so i go for the whole fiction thing.
i mostly dig the horror books a little sci-fi good ol King, Koontz, and Barker. I'll also regretfully admit I've read every V.C. Andrews series... an addiction passed on by my mother.
In my high school science fiction literature class there was a story in our book titled Sliced Crossways Only On Tuesdays or something like that. I really enjoyed that story aand would like to find that collection but i don't know what the book is called.. does anyone have any idea what i am talkin about?
Heroes:
I envy those who have heroes. Looking up to others gives us motivation to be better people. I have truelly not found one specific person, or even group of people that I would consider my heroes. Therefore there are no footsteps I wish to follow, no particular path to wander down, I am an aimless soul.
