Ashes & Snow. Body Worlds. GUITAR. RUN. CHANT. DREAM.

I'd like to meet:

Real, positive, good-hearted, fun-loving people. It doesn't hurt to have owned a cabbage patch kid at one point. Where my dogs at?

Music:

Heather Headley, M.I.A., Maxwell, Matisyahu, Lauryn Hill, Alice Smith, John Legend, Reggaeton, Jill Scott, Mary J Blige, Gorillaz, Anthony Hamilton, Kem, Ty, Leela James, Ani, Lauryn Hill, Etta James, Michelle N'degeocello, Dido, Josh Groban, Billy Holiday, Res, Sarah McLachlan, Prince, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Buble', Enya, Floetry, Alcia Keys, Madonna, Thelonious Monk, Tori Amos, Tracy Chapman, Amel Larrieux, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Lizz Wright, ... countless others... There is a right time for all music so bring it on!

Movies:

Pop in something depressing for a great pick me up! Independent films are the secret to deep thinking and my happiness!

Television:

Sad to say, I am hooked on the L-Word and Noahs Arc. Also love SVU and CSI!

Books:

When I want to get real deep and philisophical I pick up Harold and the Purple Crayon, otherwise a little Jeanette Winterson with "The World and Other Places" isn't a bad read. I also love authors Toni Morrison, Iyanla Vanzant, James Redfield, Arthur Golden, Richard A. Wright, Ralph Ellison, Zora Neale Hurston.. to name a few. My last years of grad school brought me in close contact with Anatomy, Neuroscience, Pathophysiology and Kinesiology .. so add those to my favorites list!

Heroes:

---------- All survivors. Rosa Louise Parks. Gandhi. My grandparents. My mom.
