About Me

I enjoy writing petitions and proposals. I think I'm a mean person but I've been told that I am nice too. Sometimes I feel like an alien from outer space living in a body that is not mine. At the same time, I'm mostly comfortable in my own skin and nothing really surprises or jostles me. I have been told that I contradict myself a lot, but the jury is out to lunch on what to do about it. I believe that the sky is not the limit. I feel that happiness and sadness are not mutually exclusive. I really like driving, especially through windy canyon roads in sports cars. I meditate a lot and am less attached to the 'physical' world than most people could ever understand. I went to school in Iowa at Maharishi University, during which I primarily sat in a big room where a magical reset button was pressed repeatedly, followed by a series of tones that have been shown to stimulate coherent brain functioning. Some day, I'm going to write a book about this experience, but it probably won't be published. Currently, I'm a career man intent on retiring as soon as possible so that I can travel the world while I still have my health. Oh, and I play the piano when it lets me.
