Speech from DanielleI lived in Ukiah Ca., one day I went into a pet store called Pet Porium...looking for a hamster. My now friend Sheri happened to be working there at the time, she showed me the hamster selection they had, and aftr holding a few I knew that the cute little girl peach fuzz ball that had beaten up all the other hamsters was the one for me. WOndering what I should call her I thought of a show i had been watching and the name Chino hit me...it was a boy name, but I felt Chino could be called poop and still be cute, a name is just a name as they say. After living with me in Ukiah for quit awhile a change in our lives had come up and we were set off to move to Southern California, In one Uhaul it was 6 girls: 3 humans, 1 hamster, 1 bird, and 1 tarantula. Chino and I were survivors, we stuck together through thick and thin, she has gone off a few times, but she always came back. Chino was one of the smartest hamsters I knew, and after almost 10 years of having hamsters I am done, because I know no one will ever compare to Chino.Words from the poeple who have gotten to know her the bestLaurie (Danielle's other roomate) "Chino was a sweet and good hamster, but she loved to run around and get into trouble. One time she got herself into the walls, and we thought she was stuck, so we tore the walls in the apartment apart! Turnsout she was found under the dishwasher."Moe (Laurie's Boyfriend) "one time I had Chino in my hands holding her, sitting on the floor with my lags crossed, I put her down in my lap, and she bit me in the crotch!
