Bicycles and Gravel became tired of writing sad songs so now, they uplift. If you're not uplifted it is not their fault. Sounds come from the ground, the oceans, bodies, the trees, the mines. You have to grasp them, they only make them.
Bicycles and Gravel entered an incubator over the fall, in the winter they hatched a beautiful self-titled ep! You can get this ep at any Bicycles and Gravel show or you may find one by looking under rocks, but this is less likely. Bicycles and Gravel feature members of The Quiet, Starlite Motel, LowLeaf and Captain No.1.
Their music is confident and sincere. They sing of things that will happen, not things that may. So gather around people! Listen to the gospel that they play and follow!
Bicycles and Gravel review by Flagpole (Athens, GA) "...the recorded work has all the earmarks of a very cool band in the tradition of artists found on labels such as K Records and Sarah/Shinkansen. Think clever (but not smarmy) creative pop with a high dose of melody."
"It's lyrics are unusual, if not brilliant." Audio Overflow reviewing "Where Songs Go To Hide"
