About Me
I am laid back, flexible, affectionate, loyal, forgiving, open minded, confident, creative, offbeat, intelligent, progressive, practical, and have a dry sense of humor tending toward the ironic and absurd. I am a reliable romantic (not an oxymoron, I swear!!) I am happy with my life as it is, and yet I seek a loving, committed relationship with a woman - growing emotionally and spiritually, to find that deep common bond we both yearn for. I hope to start a family and hope you have the same goal.
A female friend says of me: "Strong, spiritual, intelligent, driven, focused, funny, sparkling eyes, off beat sense of humor, independent but probably loves to cuddle, kind, considerate and sensitive yet masculine, handsome and healthy, environmentally and politically aware, wants to make a woman happy and find a partner who is his equal." She is a keen observer and such a great judge of character!
But wait, there's more: I am professionally, mentally, financially and emotionally stable. I am interested in a huge range of things: mountains, hiking, camping, family, community and sustainability, yoga!, cats, poetry, art, music and dancing, architecture, film (documentaries, noir, art flicks), cooking (yes, really!), eating, drinking, laughing until my tummy hurts, making the world a better place, fixing things, reading, progressive politics, sunsets, exploring the inner and outer landscapes, long rambling conversations, hot springs, trees, flowers and all green growing things (except invasive weeds in my garden!)
I am confident that life is always as it should be and everything happens for a reason that leads us to the greater good (except invasive weeds!) I believe that all people are fundamentally good and that even the most depraved among us is capable of redemption (even Karl Rove!) I am a citizen of the world. I seek to hear and accept my intuition, am thankful for it, and hope that I have the wisdom to heed it. I believe that enlightenment can be here and now - all that we need is to accept and surrender to it.
I am a work in progress – I know who I am, and yet if I stop growing and changing I would wither and fade. I try to remember every day to cherish life and be thankful for the beauty and bounty with which we are so blessed. I believe in the power of my word. My integrity is my most valuable possession. I am in search of a woman that inspires me, my muse.
