About Me

If I were asked to momentarily self-analyze and define my character, good or bad, in one word---it would be Perfect, of course...lol! Seriously, though, someone asked this question of me not too long ago, and my immediate response generated two answers... a.) Procrastinator-- b.) Impatient-- Although we struggle with such self issues throughout life, I don't think we are often enough slapped in the face with such an eye-opening realization... I have simply decided to change that about me. Aside from God, I am the soul creator of my destiny...I have vowed to embrace life. I had to convince my inner-self that it IS okay to slow down a bit. Most importantly, however, is to not only set goals for myself, but I must also achieve those goals.So, basically, that is me. In transition to becoming a respectable, educated, and proud individual....grrr...Adult. I am 25, currently wait tables at T.G.I. Friday's in the DFW Airport, and the mother of 'Grant', whom, by the way, is a toddler heart-throb! School starts at the end of August, and it is at that time I relinquish any existence of free-time I may seem to currently posess. I am a simple girl, atleast I think I am, anyway...I am silly...nothing is better than a cheesy joke. With someone or at myself, I love to laugh, yet am daily starting to hate the consequences---damn laugh lines! j/k Hmmmm.....And just three more random insights you were just craving to know about me---I write poetry. My birthday is January 1st. AND I love black jelly beans(a story accompanies this one)- so, might you like them also, Inquire Within!

My Interests

GRANT REILEY REDMON---(my son, of course) & other than that my interests are immeasurable. I define diversity. Whether it is an art museum or camping....I love it. I absolutely LOVE HOCKEY!!!! Whose accompanying me to the first STARS game?!

I'd like to meet:

I am open to meeting any new, interesting people....Especially, those who can keep my attention with their intelligence. I heard that this myspace thing happens to be latest craze on meeting all types.....don't prove me wrong!!

Music:

Diversity, too, describes my taste of music. Since I am not a big fan of television, music seems to be my outlet. I love everything from Cross Canadian Ragweed to Sublime. I like top 40 Rap, too---(for some good ole' 'booty' dancin')! (Don't laugh, but I can also appreciate many classical pieces). Again, like I said....I am well-rounded!

Movies:

I am not the type of person who will purchase movies to watch over and over...I don't see the point of wasting another 2 hrs. when I already know what's going to happen....There are a few exceptions to any rule, however....Here are a few of my all time fav's: Office Space, Napolean Dynamite, Super Troopers, Talladega Nights, Old School, Any Adam Sandler movie, and Joe "Deeer-te"!! Of course, I am always up for making our 'own' movies, too--- oh, shoot, did I say that out loud

Television:

I am addicted to Grey's Anatomy, and Comedy Central. MADD TV has my favorite sketches---- Stewart, and Mrs. Swan..."Look what I can do."

Books:

Ha--Does my Anatomy & Physiology book count?? Technically, I am FINALLY reading it. It only took me three attempts to actually study, lol.

Heroes:

All of my ex-teachers, my family, and God.
