About Me
I am 23 years old, originally born in Oakland CA, but lived in NY, and grew up mostly in Colorado Springs/Denver (CO). I am a 4-year Navy Veteran (IT2/E-5) and participated
in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. I got out of the Navy in July 2005 and moved back to Colorado where I lived in Boulder for 6
months and attended Front Range for one semester. December 2005, I moved up to Fort Collins. And, I moved to Castle Rock in February of 2007. While in Fort Collins I started my own business, Coleman
e-Solutions, which allows me to do what I enjoy on my own schedule and without reporting to anyone. So, now I spend much of my time working with computers -
anything from programming to technical support, web page and graphic design, networking, network security, etc. When I'm not working, I also enjoy traveling (although I don't get to nearly as much as I want),
skiing, fast cars, HOT cars, eating at nice restaurants, movies, the mall, partying, etc. I am pretty ambitious, spontaneous, and confident, and most
importantly, I like to enjoy life and have no regrets! ...except for my cars:
1993 Mazda MX-3: Totalled.. twice, and sold for $100.
1984 Z-28 Camaro: Impounded (apparantly it was stolen).
1997 Isuzu Rodeo: Driven into pole, flooded, sold for $300.
1999 Chevy Tahoe: R.I.P.
1992 Mazda Miata MX-5: Sold for $2,000 when I needed money.
2001 Volkswagen Passat GLS Sedan - Lit on fire after a month.
1996 Ford Ranger - 123k miles, 4-wheel drive, I love my pickup, lol.
For now, school is on pause while I concentrate on my business and, for the most part, life is good. I work when I want, travel when I can, and try to take
advantage of every opportunity available to do something new. Right now, I'm waiting to go on vacation again. I've been all over the United States as well
as out of the country: Tijuana/Puerto Vallarta (Mexico), Nassau (Bahammas), Tri-city area - Gdansk/Gdynia/Sopot (Poland), Kiel/Heidelberg/Frankfurt
(Germany), Venice/Florence/Cinque Terra (Italy), Souda Bay (Greece), Malta, Dubia/Jebel Ali (United Arab Emirates), the Persian Gulf/Arabian Gulf, Straight
of Gibraltar (connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea between Spain and Morocco), Strait or Hormuz (between Iran and Oman), Gulf of Oman, Suez
Canal (in Egypt connecting the Mediterranean Sea and the Gulf of Suez in the Red Sea), the Baltic Sea (connected to the North Sea dna then the Atlantic
Ocean by the Skagerrak and the Kattegat in Northern Europe), Bay of Gdansk (Poland). I still want to see much of Europe, Austrailia, the Caribbean, Hawaii,
India, Africa, Russia, etc. But, that will all happen in time.
Lastly, I am using this space to elaborate because there is such a small space alotted to "My Heroes." So, I don't know if these qualify as "heroes" by definition but they are certainly the most important and most inspirational people in my life:
• My parents - My business would not have made it without my parents and their continued support. Be it cosigning loans, providing me with work or introducing me to new prospects, they have been a tremendous help to me and help me through the hardest times.
• My brother - He has worked hard through college and work and I know he is the best at anything he does because he would not settle for anything less. I have neither the energy nor the desire to put forth the same effort toward education or a "traditional" career so it's good to see someone who is willing to put forth that effort and know that he's earned everything he's done by committing himself to being the best at everything he does. He has always been one of my best friends and someone I look up to.
• My sister - She is always dedicated to the things she believes in. She doesn't concern herself with the amount of money a certain career path will bring her. Instead, she does what she enjoys and she truely commits to doing things that she thinks are good. Be it her work, her school, or her dedication to running and living a healthy lifestyle, she is committed and that is something that is much easier to say than to actually do. She is still there to talk and hang out when other people don't have the time and she is encouraging when others don't always agree with your decisions.
Currently, I am really enjoying my life - I only wish there were more time in a day. I have the best job I could ask for and wonderful family and friends. I love Colorado even though I would love to travel more but that will all happen in time.
