Jeez, there are so many things that I like to do and want to try! I love motorcycles, I love watching my children learning to think for themselves and developing their personalities, I love being on the water (ocean or lake), I've taken up golf again(lost my clubs in a fire),I love to dance, enjoy a good book (no romance novels please), love watching all kinds of movies (Raising Arizona and Blazing Saddles may be the funniest movies of all time), I'd like to learn how to tattoo, love art of all kinds, favoring surrealist paintings mostly, art history, really into the history channel, Like to just sit in our driveway with friends and watch the trees and the world go by,..there are so many things out there I want to try, and things I like to do it's so hard to narrow it down!!
Steve McQueen (yes I'm aware he's dead), He is just the ultimate in sexy cool. I could watch Bullitt all day long, He would certainly be number one on 'the list'....there are more people I would love to meet, but I just don't want to type anymore... :)
I don't think there is a music genre I don't like....from rap to country, jazz to classical...I love it all! My friends Marla and Rodney both used to make fun of me for liking Billie Holliday and Frank Sinatra...WAAAAAY back in high school. Now Rodney makes cd's of Billie......I was just born too late I guess...
I'm almost scary with movie lines....I swear I'm almost 'savant' like when it comes to movie trivia. Gone with the Wind, period pieces (though no particular period), Boondock Saints, Bull Durham, Godfather I & II, Blazing Saddles, Raising Arizona, any of The Thin Man movies, Romeo is Bleeding, Animal House, Any Clint Eastwood or John Wayne western, Lonesome Dove. Off the wall comedy I love, Monty Python... the Holy Grail...RUN AWAY!! Funny stuff. Love all kinds of movies....such a great way to have a little mini vacation if the little angels will stop climbing on my head long enough to watch an entire movie!
ANYTHING on the History Channel, Mythbusters, Nip/Tuck, The Shield, Ultimate Fighter, Man vs. Wild, Antiques Roadshow, Rescue Me, Fox and Friends (morning news junkie)
Really into Patricia Cornwell right now, love Stephen King, James Patterson....I think someone has to die in a book for me to read it! :) I collect antique books also...my oldest so far is early 1800's, but my favorite is 'A Song of Three Centuries' which is mixed verse 1875.
My parents, they have both been throught so many traumatic events in their lives but still managed to raise 5 relatively well adjusted girls. They are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary this August.
