Chris departed this life in a tragic accident on June 9, 2007, and will be sadly missed. He is survived by his mother, Patricia Clarke, Richmond Va.; father, Rick Clarke; and grandmother, Rosa Lee Brown of San Antonio, Texas; grandmother, Virginia Boykin; sisters, Heather Brown, Renee' Scott and husband, Dale; brother, Dean Denton and wife, Deborah; uncle, Roger Boykin and wife, Lilly; girlfriend, Katie McKee; and nieces, Taylor and Tara Denton. He is also survived by numerous relatives and many friends who loved him dearly. He was self-employed in a family painting and decorating business and worked evenings in the real estate industry. He will be remembered for his brilliant mind, quick wit, generosity, humor, and passion for history and science. Chris had a contagious smile and could light up a room. He loved his family and friends, had a heart of gold, and was always comforting others. He will be greatly missed by all. A memorial service will be held June 14 at 5 p.m. at the Church of the Epiphany, 8000 Hermitage Road, Richmond, Va. 23228. Memorial donations in his honor may be made to the Church of the Epiphany or your favorite charity. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves memories no one can steal.

I would have to say my heroes are God, Jesus my PawPaw & Grandma, my Mom and my Dad. And Roger and Gabriel*My PawPaw because he was the most respectful and honest person that i've ever known. He always made sure I had what I needed. And everything he's ever taught me, i'll be sure to never forget. I hope I can help my son become half the man he was. He was a hell of a person, and I wish I could just hug him one more time. I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART PAWPAW
