I am here for Friends

About Me

My life story in a nutshell: Born in Sonora, California, but home will always be Winnemucca (aka "the 'mucc"), Nevada. Went to college at UNR in Reno. Happily tied the knot with my soulmate, Nick, and moved to Baltimore, Maryland a few days later. Spent four years in Baltimore going to medical school at Hopkins - still don't know why they didn't offer me a spot on the t.v. show . . . . Now I'm an emergency medicine resident at Scott and White hospital (Texas A&M) in Temple, Texas.Oh and there's Leila, the most beutiful, adorable, sweetest, funniest, smartest baby (well, toddler really) in the whole world!! She graced the world with her presence (nine weeks earlier than expected) on September 28, 2006 and has been bringing laughter and joy to me ever since!

Goodbye Baltimore

Today is my last day in Baltimore. As I sit here, reflecting on the last four years, I'm actually feeling a little sad. I'm not sad to be leaving Baltimore itself-the crime, the dirty city, ...
