I love: My family which includes my amazingly diverse group of friends, doing anything (or nothing) with my main squeeze Dan, throwing theme parties, anything that appeals to my morbid sensibilities, industrial music, anything Scottish - the accent alone sends me to my knees, English poetry with Tennyson,Willie and Poe at the top of the list, B movies, good Scotch, zombies, fairies, daises, crayfish not to eat but as pets, Dragons, 20s and 50s style, Stoli, mens tennis, frogs, art in any form, Polar Bears, jewelry, corsets, movies, super sticky white rice, glassware, learning, comedy, unique furnishings, Boston, the West Palm area and Chicago, psychology, playing jokes on friends, choker collars, marine biology, taking IQ tests, a good and properly poured glass of stout, high heels, Eastern Market on a crazy Saturday morning, spending time with my pets, digging into my heritage, sushi, men with microscopes on their desks at work, reading... Last but not least is watching Dan perform. He doesn't get to do it much these days which is a shame because he is brilliant.
I started taking Belly Dancing in January '07 with Lana of Detroit Bellydance and in March with Aida Al Adawi as well. Both are amazing instructors and lovely women to boot! If you would llike to learn more about taking classes please see the links below

The person who posted this video on youtube titled it "Aida best belly dancer ever" They are right. I have seen this video I don't even know how many times (Aida put it on dvd for me a year or so ago), it becomes more and more amazing each time I view it.

I can't stand: Voluntary ignorance, bad manners, bridges - especially suspension bridges, having dental work done, societys overall view on beauty (men, women, homes, cars, etc), extreme zealots of any kind, splinters, those who push their beliefs on you, cilantro, people who try too hard, not being listened to.
