Yoroshiku! (Nice to meet you!)

About Me

I'm a fairly easy going guy, who's finished wasting life away at grad school. I'm funny, though half of the time it's more of a "cheesy" funny. I love anime, and all things related to it. I still watch pro wrestling...although it's not so much anymore. I do martial arts. The style of martial arts seen in the UFC. I'm a dork. A big dork. I'm better than no one, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love loud music, especially heavy metal, though much of the new stuff out now (within the past couple of years) isn't as good as it used to be. I like people who like anime, and I like people who like to have fun.

My Interests

Movies, music, anime, business, japanese culture, mixed martial arts, video games

I'd like to meet:

Interesting people. People who like the same stuff I do. People who are somewhat different than me. And ladies. Lots of ladies. The more, the merrier, I say!

Music:

Rock, metal, alternative, some jazz, anime soundtracks, weird stuff, etc. The Pillows, L'Arc~en~Ciel, capsule, m-flo, Akino Arai, Yoko Kanno

Movies:

Anything by Tarantino, martial arts movies, action movies, comedies, Office Space, PCU, Boondock Saints, Akira, Perfect Blue, The Last Samurai

For actual print, I love Battle Royale by Koushin Takami, as well as the Vampire Hunter D series. For manga, or Japanese comics, there's so many. Some include Blade of the Immortal, Lupin III, Priest, Trigun Maximum...to name a few.

My Blog

Love, or at least a personal reflection of it

Ok, here's the story.  As the vast majority of people know, I happen to be a fan of anime.  However, I find myself privy sometimes to a certain genre, known as "harem" anime.  For those...

Kickball Rules, and Michael Bay...not so much

So, today I engaged in one of America's true pastimes - kickball.  And, let me tell you, it was bloody fun!  Granted, it was a bunch of adults playing, but it was still fun.  However, I...
