DT is originally from Chicago, IL and now lives in Charlotte, NC. DT fell in love with the sound of house music at the age of 14. Growing up on the Westside of Chicago in that time frame if you loved music you were bound to be part one of the infamous dance groups i.e., House-o-matics. Well, DT was part of Nothing So Unique. Dancing at all the high school functions to some of the highest ranked DJs of the time (Dj Gant-Man, Funk, Slugo, Bo, Waxmaster, Phelo and many more). After High School DT went off to college where he started his real party planning techniques. As a freshman DT threw the hottest and livest parties on campus surpassing even some of the fraternity events. At that point he knew this would be something that would be a part of his life forever. DT started with private socials and quickly climbed the ladder to huge social events at bars like The Hidden Lounge, Dragon Room, and Biology Bar back in Chicago after school. DT has assisted dancers, models and DJs take off in their careers having top connections with some of the most elite bar owners and agencies. This is where DT Productions began, year 2000. In 2001, DT along with Gerry Litefoot of Litefoot Entertainment received the promoter of the year award from the Biology Bar. As time evolved DT became more and more connected with the Underground house scene (DJ Emmanuel, Vince Miller, Tony T,etc.), where he now stands.In 2005, DT relocated to Charlotte where original House Music was of rare species. DT immediately began to host social networking events at venues like Tutto Mondos, Ménage, Gilda, and Skyy Lounge (now Club Eden). In 2005 DT also partnered with Jennifer Hurst another Chicago native that loved the music. That October, they launched the Chicago in Charlotte event with her brother Julius the Madd Thinker of 3Degrees which has been an ongoing success to date. In addition to throwing some of the most elite events DT also continues to assist models, dancers, and DJs in advancing their careers and meeting their goals.
