An old, black man named Leon who has a real deep voice and sings the blues. Leon would have a story for everything, and he's never in a bad mood. If you are reading this Leon, or if you know Leon, let me know. Oh yeah, and the guys who do the 1-800-MY-lemon and "pepper!" commercials. Just so I could twist their nipples. Man, I hate those commercials. If you live around Pittsburgh and you've heard those commercials, you'd be right in line behind me.
I will listen to just about anything...no really, anything. If it sounds good to me I will like it. It all just depends on the mood I am in. My favorite time to listen to Bob Marley is at the end of a party, like 5 or 6 am when most of the people have left and it's just you and a few others hanging around drinking the last few beers and just talking. Before going out to the bars I like a good rock song, something that gets me going. And even other types of music that don't (surprisingly) deal with alcohol. Like I said, it all depends on my mood, who I'm with, or what I'm doing at the time. You tell me that you don't have a good time singing "Build me up Buttercup" with your friends and I won't call you a liar but I'll have a hard time believing you...then I'll call you a liar.
Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon - Anyone who likes slasher flicks needs to see this.
Scrubs, Friends, My Name is Earl. Entourage is great and Deadwood kicks ass. Weeds is an amazing show that is underwatched. I am a huge fan of both the BBC and the American versions of the Office.I really liked Teachers on NBC (it was from the creators of Scrubs) but unfortuately it didn't make it past the first season. Same goes with Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. I have two friends on Takeover my Makeover on HGTV, so I watch that all the time. I get my news from The Daily Show and the Colbert Report just like most people in my demographic...whatever the hell that is. Lost and Heroes are fantastic. Has anyone else seen Dexter on Showtime?
Almost anything by Anne Rice (the only one I had trouble with is Violin, but I'm working on it.), Harry Potter, LOTR, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Shakespeare, Neil Gaiman and Kurt Vonnegut. I try and read everything I can on Stephen King.
My dog...her name is Hero. "But why a girl named 'Hero'?" Is the question I get asked all the time. Well, there are a few answers: 1. I like the name (That should be enough, but nobody accecpts that one.) 2. I like Shakespeare and there is a character in "Much Ado About Nothing" that is named Hero. In the movie with Kenneth Brannagh, Hero is played by Kate Beckensale. 3. I like the name. Here's what she looks like. (My dog, not Kate Beckensale.)
