NEW MUSIC VIDEO!!!!!!!!!
Faith dies last was formed in the fall of 2005. it all started at first baptist church euless, tx, when the church's youth minister, kent wells, asked frontman josh brown to leave his hometown of nashville, tn, and help him assemble a group to help lead worship for their wednesday youth meetings. knowing a few of the students in his youth group, kent turned to jordan mccurry to temporarily play bass guitar, and see how it would work out. josh would then recruit brian morris from nashville, tn, to play guitar, freeing josh up to play the piano. the group began leading worship every wednesday night, and it was not long before they decided that they needed to take this beyond the walls of the church. they began playing in the dallas, tx, area and earned the approval and respect of the local churchgoers and non-churchgoers alike.
after the school year ended, the group decided to move to waco, tx, to attend schooling and further their musical career there. shortly after the move to waco, the band asked guitarist carter stark to join, and ryan williams would move from nashville,tn to play drums thus forming the current lineup of faith dies last. together, the group has committed to improving both collectively and individually as musicians, but more importantly as people. they believe that the two most important aspects of life are loving God and loving people. it is to this end that they diligently work and aspire to. through their music they strive to attain their goal. it serves as an avenue to love on the masses of people they might not get to otherwise. they desire to be remembered by how much they love others, a reflection of their love for their God. their name serves as a constant reminder of that goal: faith dies last.
