Photography is number one. I would like to become more proficient. I have the eye but not always the technique the way I would like. I would love to have a mentor to teach me the things that I have not been able to learn as easily on my own. And I would enjoy having people model for me since I enjoy live subjects more than still lifes, sceneries and the like.I love video and filmmaking. I would love to make films. I am into all sorts of movies and films. Music is great. Singing .. I wish I could hold a tune but not since my voice changed. Okay, I admit, I love Broadway. I love writing and have tried to write a couple of books. I would love to be published.Partying, socializing, having fun ..... these can be my passion very easily.
Redheads would be nice! LOL! Interesting people. People who are fun to be with. People fun to talk to. Musicians. Photographers. Anyone open minded and interested in having fun, lively conversations or just hanging out. I like all sorts of different people and enjoy being sociable (except the times I become that couch potato .. but he is disappearing with the weight!).
Transfusion M is the best going!!! And Michael Ferentino's solo work is great!Moody Blues, Simon and Garfunkel, Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Phil Collins, Carly Simons. My absolute favorite: The Beatles. The Roches are still a favorite of mine. Folk music is great. The Bee Gees (I cannot believe that I never got to see them in person and, now, it can never happen! What a bummer!).I'll listen and enjoy most anything except for country (not one of my favorites!). NO twanging guitars for me. And hip hop is not one of my favorites. I can get into to beat and the rhythm of the words but not the whole thing. There's alot of current stuff I like also but don't ask me names, groups, etc. I know what I like when I hear it but may not know whom I'm listening to!Have to add: Pink Floyd, Queen, Bjork, David Bowie, Meatloaf, Arlo Guthrie, Donovan, Don McLean, , Tom Paxton, Oscar Brand and so on and so on.
Casablanca. Old B & W films. British comedies. Indie films. Well. I'm a film buff. When I have time, I have attended a filmmakers symposium here in NJ that previews films and then we meet someone involved with the film (actor, director, producer, distributor, whatever). OH! And how could I forget? Mel Brooks! Blazing Saddles is good BUT The Producers is great! Not the new Producers (better than I expected but NO Zero Mostel and Gene Wilder!). Nothing funnier in the world! Watch it! No, I mean watch it ... you will not regret it!!!!!! How can I leave out my all time favorite? Rocky Horror Picture Show!!!!!! Let's do the Time Warp again!!!!!! John Waters films. I also admit to liking musicals particularly West Side Story and 1776. My favorite musical will be forever Les Miserables which I still wish was on film (the musical). They talked about it becoming a film but it never happened. I have an eclectic taste that runs from the macabre and bizarre to the mainstream. It's impossible to really list what I like .. to anyone else, it would seem too diverse a list that would not make much sense!
Anything Star Trek! Buffy, Angel, Charmed are up there. British comedies are the number one though. Give me Red Dwarf, Brittas Empire, My Hero, Chef and, of course, Monty Python and Fawlty Towers! After that, an eclectic set of shows including Six Feet Under, Dead Like Me, Nip/Tuck, Sopranos. Did I mention Spongebob? I really love Spongebob Squarepants. Do NOT give me any sports shows. No way!
Medical thrillers are my thing. Authors including Robin Cook, Michael Palmer, Stephen White, Patricia Cornwell, Tess Gerritsen, Peter Clement. Add to the mix the alphabet series by Sue Grafton.
People who know who they are and accomplish things for others. I cannot really say specific people but I am a giver by nature and when I see people give of themselves without getting anything in return, I am super impressed. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt get publicity (as much as they act like they fight it, they are performers and they DO enjoy it!) so they get something in return for their so called humanitarian acts. I am impressed by people who truly remain anonymous and act without anything in return other than the inner feeling of good.
