About Me

The Kid in the video above tells the story of me without words. Just click on it and watch as Barry "Skanks" across the U.K. This is the visual side of how I feel on the inside ALL THE TIME. Enjoy.Well, like most people I like funny movies and television shows. Mostly, because the best part is reliving them the next day with your friends, co-workers, and often times total strangers. Say you've got nothing in common with the people next to you, but you relate to, oh I don't know, a show like "The Simpsons." and you go off on a tangent spouting off the lines you had both heard the night before verbatum. It usually begins with, ....."Hey, remember that one time on The Simpsons where........................" and usually the sketch pertains to what is happening to you at the time. Kind of incites a riot in your mind of creativity of your own and before you know it you're in a full on conversation with someone who is a...from that moment on...no longer a stranger. Then again, 9 times out of ten people are too busy and have never heard of "having the time for things as trivial as television," and look at you as some type of baffoon or villiage idiot. Ah well, such is life, move on. There are plenty of other people out there who need entertainement. So the next time you are at the DMV or JURY DUTY and you hear the moderators on the loud speaker say, "You will remain inyour seats for the next available personell member..." then before the unison groan of the crowd hits you hear, "NOT GOING ANYWHERE FOR A WHILE???" Look around, I might be sitting behind you. I like playing the sax and telling jokes, but, as asinine as this sounds, I've realized you can't do both tasks at the same time. Go figure. How long did it take me to realize this? But serioulsly, I do like performing in front of a crowd even if it is just a small part its a lot of fun. Then again, I do like writting short comic situations and the occassional "all about me" section of a web site. Most other times I'm just regualr old "Ramon." Nothing more nothing less. If you have any more questions, ask. Who knows, we might be friends already and you don't even realize it....."Hey, remember that one time on The Simpsons where........................"

My Interests

I like Live music, comic books, creative writting, good fun with friends, and steak tacos and spontaneous public displays of dance. Check it out. -Ramon

I'd like to meet:

There aren't too many people that I would not want to meet. I'll spend 15 minutes to an hour with the worst and the best. I just want to meet as many people as I can before I die just to experience what life has had in store for everyone else that I have met along the way. Keep an open mind even to the people you think you have heard bad things about. Yes you can judge them by their actions, but remember its not our place to judge. Just be fair with everyone. I also don't mind "taking the piss" out of someone I just met, so bear with me. If you're "fragile" or "easily offended" then maybe we should just shake hands and say "Hello. It was nice to have met you." .. width="425" height="350" ..

Music:

When everbody says, "Everything" you know they are lying, because nine of them are @$$holes that listen to crap and one of them is yourself. So I easily say, whatever I damn well feel like I am in the mood for. Ska, Punk, Reggae, Funk, Rock, Swing, Blues, Jazz, and occassionally some classical, (thanks Dr. Bickel!!!) Below is a video filmed here in Chicago by the increasingly popular band "The Lawrence Arms." I was asked personally a few days before the shoot of this cleverly titled song "Pornos and Snuff Films," to be a special guest star. Click the play button and see why even my mom said, "Well....now that wasn't soooooooo bad boy." .. width="425" height="350" ..

Movies:

Depends on my mood, but a good action/comedy it always a great time. Of course, don't rule out fun musicals and a Cartoon flick here and there.

Television:

Yes please.

Books:

"Is T.V. Guide a book?"-Homer Simpson

Heroes:

Each and everyone that does their job the way they should have in the first place in order to make something go right. From the man who set the hindges on the door to the building you walk into everyday to the Doctor who stictched every last bit of you when you needed it done. Just do your job and be someone's hero today. That and kids with Cancer. They have only known pain their whole little lives and they are some of the toughest MF'ers that I have heard of. Complain about life, your job, lack of boyfriend or current girlfriend and I'll show you a list of thousands of names that never got close to those choices in their lives who valued every second they were alive and briaved it out tougher than you. There, those are heroes.
