they call me Kalin, and they call me monsieur. they even call me Chopsticks O'Malley, but you'd probably just look at him funny. I reserve myself at work and I release myself at large, and I've learned the ins and outs well enough that I don't think they'll be getting me back in that cage again anytime soon.
I've lived different lives and I've portrayed various personas in my handful of years on this rock, though I think I'm finally finding out who I am. a bit. I go for the jokes that most people won't, I find joy in things most people hide, and I refuse to judge people - it'd be nice if I could find more people like that, people who can just be, and people who'll let me in so we can all enjoy the raucous laughter and riots that ensue.
that unsaid, I generally don't like to describe myself in writing, as there will always be someone to say, "Wait, you don't have six arms!" those gnomes are a reliably disagreeable bunch.
I guess you could say I'm an artist of several mediums, including writing stories/poetry/music, and sometimes sketch art.
Occassionally, I blink.
a note to ghosts from the past:
it can be said (and often is) that I was a troubled little brat in high school. I do not dispute this. but, as with all things, time brings change. the years after high school did a lot to me, bringing a change in temperament, outlook, and fingernails. for anyone who's ever felt wronged, angered, or exhausted by me, I can only appologize... and point out that I taste much better now.
