We could change the world.

Time will disappear and kill without any conscience, but I'll still always be here.

About Me

After I die, I will only be remembered by a trace amount of people: those few whom I have allowed to get close to me. But...what I've done and what I aim to do will never be forgotten. Never.
You won't remember my name. But you'll know my story. Everyone will.
The Joker Revealed:
Carousel
Alex Row
Life came back to us like a car crash.
An eternity - giftwrapped in two seconds.
But they were wrong.
Your life doesn't flash before your eyes.
Instead, you worry about the person
sitting next to you.
And, in the two seconds you think you're going to die,
you sit in regret that you won't see the rest of that life.
That you won't be a part of it.

Then the spinning stops, and -
as fate would have it -
you're not as dead as you thought you would be.
You're alive. Without a single scratch on you.
There's no way to explain it,
with the exception that guardian angels do exist -
and we happened to catch ours on a good day.

Lights streaked around us, swerving to miss us.
Walls loomed nearer, the axis of a carousel -
only there were no smiling children on porcelain horses.
Instead, there was the silence of the surrender.
I didn't cry out to God to save us.
She didn't scream in terror.
There were no tears of regret
or last words of love.

Instead, we waited.
Patience in the face of death - only us.

We are alive. Nothing else matters.
Everything else is trivial.
Trivial to the point of laughter.
It is only when you have seen the end,
when you have reached out and touched it,
that you can fully appreciate everything
leading up to that moment.
The pain, the sadness, the joy and the bliss.
It is all necessary.
And none of it is wasted.

In essence, life is both heaven and hell.
And - because I am not yet ready to reside in either -
I choose to stay for a little while longer.

If the pistol never leaves the holster, it can never save your life.
