If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

I woke up one morning and realized I've grown a family of things I see and then learn lessons from each day.. I felt that I wasn't able to resurrect and compose these visualizations for other people to enjoy unless I wrote to everyone on a more personal level. I believe we can all help the world tremendously if we all just put aside our excess feelings over money and drama and politics and religion and simply love one another, and I wanted to write this new record to raise a sense of awareness that there are still people who are striving for love and peace out there, more real people who could care less about things that are so temporary, like the clothes we wear everyday and care more about the real treasures of life. I've been taking notes along my walk and my journey and I decided to put it all to music and continue to do that until the day comes that I can't do it anymore. I'm Mat Musto and I believe.

God, The way it feels to look into the night sky and realize how small we really are, the way it feels to wake up to someone you love, friends that do drugs, friends that stay true, symphonies, the snow, the rain, the blurriness when you drink alcohol, the happiness when a stranger goes out of their way to make your day happy, acts of random kindness, animals, thunderstorms, headaches, good books, wise people, people who get tattoos with my logo or lyrics, people who make me t-shirts or wear t-shirts with my name on them, cutting magazines, painting what I think God looks like, trying to comprehend what comes outside of space and time and our dimension, poetry, fast car rides, slow car rides, Adam duritz, the numbers 11, 27 and 7, looking at cars that pass by in the opposite lane when I'm out of state and wonder if I'll ever meet any of those people in the future, country music, jazz, folk music, progressive delayed sounds, the fear of demons and God, when people think they know everything and have it all figured out, re-occurring dreams, cigarettes, caffeine/coffee, soft beautiful sounds, street performers, my family, learning about machinery and technology, "leaving through the window" by something corporate, people who hate me, people who love me, abstract things, metaphors, people who genuinely like my music and could care less of my image and/or what I look like, fresh fruit, touring the country, caring about someone and thinking about them everyday, but never speaking with them, water, twitter, people who say mat moose-toe instead of must-toe, the feeling when you forget something but you don't know what you forgot, looking in the fridge then looking in the cabinets and then looking back in the fridge and the freezer expecting food to start appearing, the love of money, the love of power, the love of peace, not watching television at all, sleeping in a bed 5 times my human size, Alice in wonderland, gardenstate, requiem for a dream, spun, giving advice, getting advice, hugging old friends, meeting new people, Counting Crows, The Wallflowers, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Bob Dylan, Rascal Flatts.
