My name is Josh Nickel, I was born in Kelowna B.C. Canada but I only lived there till I was five. My parents moved to Mexico which meant I had to tag along also since I was too young to make a choice. So I ended up growing up in a small town way down in Mexico called Puerto Escondido, a place a bit hard to find on the map, but has beautiful beaches, inspiring sunsets and great waves and not much else… I noticed I had an interest in music since I was very young when my dad taught me the tunka, tunka on the drums, but it didn’t take me long to figure out other beats, and on the way, other instruments too. When I was 20 I moved to Australia and studied Music & Arts in Sydney and discovered how much I loved to write music and decided “this is what I’m gonna do. I’ve recorded this album “Love…Life” thanks to many friends that have inspired me these past years and helped me along this journey that has just begun.So remember Love life and keep dreaming…..
