My Interests

Hanging out with good people, Riding the motorcycle, DJing, having a few beers, Mexican food, laughing, traveling.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet genuine people who like to have fun. It's cool if have a scene or scenes you are into but if it's an elitist clique you belong to then you are taking yourself way too seriously. "Cool" people laugh at everyone else while real people laugh at themselves first. Just be you.

Music:

Musica! See my Blog "This is a journy into sound". Hip Hip (from beginning to now), Reggeton, old freestyle, new trance, Punk, industrial goth, modern rock, classic rock, spanish, punjabi. I love music as a whole, it's emotion with a rhythm, I'm always open. I'm a fan of bands including VNV Nation, Misfits, HIM, Shakira, Miami Sound Machine, Belanova, Belinda Carlisle, Keyshia Cole, The Cure, Shakespeare's sister, Social Distortion, Toby Keith, Gretchen Wilson, Metallica(Pre black album), Bjork, Siouxsie, The Cramps, Stevie Nicks, Sade, Kraftwerk, Information Society, Five Star, Fear, TSOL, Meat Beat Manifesto, Louie Prima, Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd, SAMHAIN, Janes Addiction, Jimmy Brinx(from my hood). Also all that 1st gen rap I used to hear on the Lady B show like Run DMC, Divine Sounds, Great Pumpkin & the all stars, Captain Rock, Whodini, Schooly D,TLA Rock & Jazzy Jay, M.C. Breeze(Philly), Globe and the Whiz kid, UTFO, Newcleus. Then there's all those old school Freestyle tracks I used to spin on my turntables back in the day like Sa-Fire, Hashim, Judy Torres, Coro, Nocera, The Cover Girls, Company B, Jaya, Aleem, Shavonne, Giggles, Stevie B, Joyce Sims, Shannon, ect. Crazy mad props to Louie Vega & The Latin Rascals, your remixes helped inspire an entire generation of DJ's.////////////////////////////////////// Impressive young talent. Mike Milosh - You BELANOVA(THEN)-Tus Ojos DEPECHE MODE DJ Q Bert is probably my favorite DJ in a long time. Genuine talent and a sense of humor. I love the "It's" scratch from "Al Naafiysh" toward the end. Bjork

Movies:

Times Square(1980), Damnation alley, The Little Match Girl (1970's PBS version), 70's disaster movies, Duel, Vanishing point, old B horror flicks, anything by Tim Burton, Three O'clock high, 80's teen movies, live concert videos, Beat street, EVIL MF'N DEAD! I prefer rented and/or borrowed DVD's over cable TV. Going to a theater with friends is nice too...

Television:

Without the Sopranos, TV is dead. But, if I happen to walk by a TV with a VH1 "Living in the (insert decade here)" shows I get pulled in to watching it.

Books:

If I'm reading something, you can bet it's reference material or something informative. I rarely read stories in print as I prefer to hear those in song.

Heroes:

Be your own hero. Everyone else will let you down. A Plymouth Valiant in action! Another favorite Valiant.
