i'm a shy girl with a big personality. the shyness goes away with time and patience. when i'm comfortable i surprise people. i think everything is funny. i work hard at the things that people think aren't important, and i disregard the things that people think are important. with that said, i loooove colorguard, and quite frankly, i think school blows, which is ironic because i spend and will spend the majority of my life in a high school. i'm one of those english majors who can't spell (i've been told so by a professor), doesn't know fancy words (so don't ask me to be your personal dictionary/thesaurus), who doesn't read unless i have to (and even then it might not get done), who is famous for comma splices (refer to my grammatically incorrect blogs), who doesn't capitalize or punctuate (consider it a personal style), and who is in the major for the writing aspect (except i detest paper writing just like the rest of you). still interested?
okay. i coach, which is a kind of teaching, and i'm going to school to be an english teacher because some of the best people i've met and people who i idolize, adore, and respect have been or are my teachers. my life's ambition is to do what those people have done for me: to instill the belief that something is worth all your efforts, and your passion can drive you far beyond what you ever thought you were capable of. i might not be the brightest crayon in the box, but i certainly am the sharpest one because i know what i want, and my ability to dream big has and is still taking me on the ride of my life.
