beautiful disaster

My name is Melissa, everyone calls me Mel I♥God with my whole♥heart♥. Jesus is my Lord and Savior, he layed down his life so that I could have eternal life with Him. And if you don't know Him you should seek Him. I'm the Youth Leader for Redemption Youth Ministries at New Life Family Church. I'm going to be a Youth Pastor someday soon, mostly when God see's that it is fitting. I know in my♥ that, that's what God ultimately wants me to do. I ♥ the position that God has given me at the time, I work with a awesome group of pre-teens and teens. The leaders that I work with are all equally amazing and our youth group wouldn't be the same without them. I totally appreciate them. Thanks for everything Chuck and Randi and to Jazzy Patrick Priscilla and Glen I mean Aber for accepting the challenge as teen leaders...I think I've wasted a good couple of years trying to figure out who people have wanted me to be and find the "perfect career" and fit the criteria of what other people viewed as succesful, instead of choosing for myself what made me feel successful and happy. My ministry is my life....I know that God has an awesome plan and purpose for my life involving this ministry and I'm excited to see where he takes me...Its funny how when we're younger we make all these plans for ourselves sometimes never asking God where he's gonna take us...And than one day you meet him and he changes everything...and sometimes the plans that you made for yourself...become overshadowed by the awesomeness of God's plans...I ♥ art, I believe and know that God has blessed me with this amazing talent to create, I can spend an entire day drawing, doodling, painting, sewing, just creating. I'd love to be a designer, someday Chuck, Randi and myself will go into business together...It sounds like a dream but little by little God has been opening the doors of opportunity...Chuck and Randi will handle the business,and I'll design everything from hand bags to clothes...oh yeah Randi will sport all the merchandise. I have an extremely short attention span, I talk tooo much and listen hardly ever, its like when someone else is talking my mind just drifts off somewhere else until its my turn to talk. I think I have ADD. My best and worst qualities about my personality are my humor and sarcasm mix them together and its a recipe for disaster. I think I can seem serious and God forbid stuck up at first but I'm not I'm actually the extreme opposite. And lastly it would be great if I someday graduated from Biola.
