I was born and raised in Alaska, grew up there and graduated from High School there... I spent the majority of my childhood years in Seward but also lived in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Valdez (not in that order). As I grew older I realized that Alaska was not where I wanted to be. I moved to Oregon (just outside Portland) when I was 20 and stayed there for a couple of years before deciding to move back to the big state. I moved to Anchorage, met Mr. Wrong and got married... of course you couldn't tell me then that he was Mr. Wrong (you never seem to find that out until it's too late) Mr. Wrong took me out of Alaska once again and swept me away to the Arm Pit of the US (New Jersey) I divorced 2 years after moving to NJ and then got hired on with Enterprise Rent a Car, I stuck around the state for a year then put in for a transfer with my company and moved to Arizona to be closer to my parents. I worked in Prescott, Prescott Valley then took a promotion and moved to Payson.. after about 6 months in Payson I decided to put in another transfer and move to North Carolina (what was I thinking). Okay, so I didn't just move for the heck of it... it was another Mr. Wrong that talked me into it. I don't regret the time I spent in NC, I got to work on Fort Bragg and I met so many courageous people... sadly some of the people I had met are no longer with us but they will be remembered. Anyway, that brings us to present time.... I am living back in Prescott Valley and working as an underwriter for a large insurance company.
