My name is Brenda I live in Tonawanda,NY and i am 27 years old. I had moved out of NY to AZ in 2005 with my husband(now ex) and was there for 2 in a half years.
I believe now that things happen for a reason. It sucked, But now that i am home i am working hard to better my life. It's tough and stressful but i know i will succeed in the end.I want to be someone and not waste my life away.
Anyways I have a 5 in a half year old boxer named Nikita who lives in AZ who I miss soooooo much and love sooo much, I know she is being well taken care of.It has been so hard for me to live everyday here without her and knowing that I may never ever see her again. I also have a 5 year old boxer named Niko. He is such a dork and has the funniest personality, I love him too death! It has been so hard for him to adjust now, now that he is by himself. Both my dogs mean the whole world to me, they are the greatest gifts I ever had. I raised them and watched them grow. Having to deside which dog to take home with me and which dog stays, was the most difficult decision I ever had to make.I did what I had to do. Some people don't realize how much love I have for my dogs, and they think I'm crazy for the way I feel. But the dogs have always been there for me through sickness and through pain.I love them both forever!! Like I said before, being able to chose was the absolute worse. I never thought it would come down to that. Both dogs were together for 4 years.It's sad things turned out the way they did, but after time goes by I know things will sort of be better then they were. Miss you Nikita!
I am working hard to better my life and make things happen.For my new years resolution, two things I really want to focus on is my singing and spending more time with my family. Time that I lost when I lived away.My I have three sisters, Amy, Chrissy, and Samantha.Samantha, everytime I see her she just keeps growing up! It seems only yesturday that she was a baby. Now boom, she's entering the adult world. Time goes by fast as we all know.I have a step brother named Will, and a brother Steve who are both serving our country.I am proud of them both for serving in the military.As of my neices and newphews, First most, my neice angel amor. I love this kid to death, and i'm soo happy to be her auntie. Her mother knows I would watch her anytime,and the time I get to spend with her is time well spent!! I also have a nephew, Camden, who is the cutest lil boy with such a smart mind.lol Then theres landin and gianna.Love them both,sucks they live so far away. Then theres my mother, who I am trying to have a better relationship with. I know in the past i wasnt really there, but I am now.I love my mother very much and hate that i wasnt more open with her before.Im trying to be more open, and be able to share my feelings, which is very hard for me to do. Then my father, who I respect soo much.I moved home from AZ and was able to live with him with niko. It mean't alot that i had a place to live when i got home. I appreciate him and crystal for helping me out with a place to stay. Me and him are almost alike. lol that sounds sorta scary, but we are,and im very happy he's my father. I love my family very much.
Well anyways, Latley I have been singing as a guest for the JC Thompson Band.I really have been takin my music very serious. Unlike before when i was way too shy, but I have been able to get over the shy part and just be me. The band is amazing and they have been around for years. They also were put into The Buffalo Music Hall Of Fame!! Jim Thomspson is the bands lead vocalist, and im soo glad to have met him. He has opened up his time with me just so that we can rehearse some songs together and learn some songs to sing at a gig. He has helped me out alot with remembering words and teaching me alot about writing. We had rehearsed a song for a couple of weeks and he had asked me if I would like to sing it out at one of his gigs. I was very pleased to have been asked, so I answered YES! So on the night of the gig, he called me up on stage, he started playing the guitar, then I started singing and it was the best feeling ever!! After a couple more gigs out, I have been feeling less nervous and not shy at all. Makes me feel good to know im a good singer, and that I have people out there who are very supportive.Even though at times I think i'm just OK. He is very amazed of my singing.Which I am very amazed at his as well.
Then there's the Dome Stadium in Tonawanda,NY. Every saturday night I always make my way to the dome for the karaoke. It's the one night I can be me. Where I can sing whatever I want and have fun with it. Saturday night wouldn't be complete without the friends! A few to name, Mike-At first he was very very shy, and didn't talk much. but after a few drinks, he then was more talkative. Oh and that night when you smacked my ass soo fuckin hard it hurt soo damn bad, payback is a bitch, so watch your ass!!!! lol Mikey is cool. Then there's Sally- mikes gf. Sally is such a sweetheart, everytime I see her all I see is smiles! Sally always gets me in the mood to be goofy and smile, and I always have soo much fun with her sitting at table talking to her boobs, lol only she would know what the fuck im talking about. lol Sally is a good person. Then there's Tara- tara,tara,tara, what would I ever do without my Tarabear. This girl always gets me in the mood to dance. I call her the danceing energizing bunny because all she does is dance. She stands there and dances,sits and dances, but she never really sits, just dances. lol Tara is someone I can trust, someone I know I can talk to if i needed to. She's great in everyway! Then there's Sean-I remember when I first met Sean, we were on the dance floor danceing with the crowds and every now and then we'd turn to each other and dance crazy. Then when the song was over, "hey brenda you ready for a shot," lol Yep. After 4 more of the shots there we were on the dance floor danceing like we were in a musical or some shit like that. Always smileing, always being goofy. But Sean is a very kind careing person who always seems to put everybody first before himself.Which to an extend is very considerate. He is a great person and has such a great heart. I had giving him a demo of me singing in october and he posted it up on his web page and glad to say I had over 1 million downloads from my song!!!That was the best feeling knowing that my song has been downloaded over a million times!! Wow, Damn!Im getting all excited thinking of it! lol I thank and appreciate him sooo soo much for doing that for me. He is the greatest friend a person could ever want! Someone who I also trust as a friend! :)
I also would love to thank all my friends at the dome for being sooo damn supportive of me with my singing and through my personal life. It means alot to know there are people out there who care and give a shit!!!! :)
Then there is one last person I would like to thank and appreciate, and that is my roommate, Kevin. Kevin is my bestest friend, and he is someone I also trust very much with just about anything and everything. He has helped me out unbelievably. He has opened his door for me and niko, and helped me out with living arrangments. With living soo far away from home and having a hard time with my bills, he has made room for me and niko to stay where I could get ahead. Even though it's still hard to get ahead, he was kind enough to have helped me out. And he did it all out of friendship. Words can't even describe what he has done for me. Thank you very much kev (probe) for helping me out and being such a cool friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
