So here's the deal..
Instead of having someone write some huge fake biography of how I'm a big deal, I figured I'd just try to write something real and down to earth. So I guess that makes this the "Autobio Section".
Overview:
My mom has an amazing voice. She plays the piano..
I have a decent voice. I stab at the piano...
That's pretty much where the story starts.
At age 3, my mom had me sitting at a piano, banging on the keys.
Well, 17 years later, nothing much has changed, except that I've picked up several other instruments, and I can't be bribed with graham crackers and baby food anymore.
At age 12, I wrote my first complete song. I remember it clearly:
I bootlegged every musical part of a Whitney Houston song and called it my own.
It was AWESOME (thanks Whitney)
But since then I've been in bands, musicals, choirs, plays, and jail even! Nah, just kidding.
I've never been in band!
Actually funny story about band-
When I was in 8th grade, we had gotten a new band teacher. Some of my friends thought it was cool to skip class. But me, being the smart kid, thought it was cool to go to class. Band class.
So while they were out running around, I decided to pick up their instruments and play them. It was so rad. I learned how to play a bunch of different kinds of instruments, which confused my teacher to the point where he didn't even know my name until 2nd semester.
Awesome!
But anyway, that whole deal started the heave-ho of the instrument buffet. My grandpa was showing me the guitar (which is my current weapon of choice), which fueled the fire for more learning.

So here I am, 20 years old.. Writing songs as "REAL DEAL" as possible. As God puts things on my heart, I try to throw them down asap.
My goal as an artist isn't to get signed, or rich, or famous.
I want to be as real as possible.
I want to challenge or inspire people.
I want to be a blessing in whatever way I can.
I want to be ACTIVE in helping those in need.. Widows, Orphans, Homeless, and Hurting..
And ultimately - I want to share the reason behind all of these things..
The Hope that comes from knowing God, and the fact that He loves US, and gave His Son to save us from our sinful nature.
