Wad up!
I'm back. OMG I'm back and it feels amazing. Not that being at sea for 6 months wasn't an amazing experience, a once in a lifetime thing...etc., but wow. There are so many little freedoms on land that you take for granted while being on a ship. Eating EXACTLY what you want WHEN you want it and exactly HOW you want it. I did and did not miss driving. Let's just say I missed driving, but not in LA. And last but certainly not least, I missed the my friends and family. It is definitely true that the people you surround yourself with are a reflection of who you are and who you want to be, and ship does not let you choose your surroundings. I will, however, dearly miss the quartet and the friends that I made on board. This next chapter in my life is going to be one of focus, motivation, and fun as I prepare to double my efforts to create a career of performance (on land ; ) Whether attending an open mic with Paul or recording a new album with the fabulous new group I'm in (Sonos, the page will be up soon) or even playing games with homies, this certainly is looking to be an exciting and driven period of my life.
If I were to be sorted...there is no question in my mind.
The hat would certainly yell out....
