MyOwnGravity was formed in 2001 at AC studios in the heart of Barcelona when two like minded musicians from different corners of the planet met whilst recording and producing the sound track for the acclaimed film “Fausto.” (La Fura Dels Baus) Ray arrived in Europe from Australia after unprecedented success with groups Suiciety and Surdo and having toured with the likes of The Smashing Pumpkins, Ministry, Soundgarden, Alice In Chains, Fear Factory and Kreator. Rachel had already carved herself a niche throughout the UK and Europe as a session singer, musician, songwriter and performer. MyOwnGravity was to become their driving force, their statement and their centre.Their acclaim as songwriters and producers has grown throughout Europe thanks to their unique style and unnerving ability to make things happen whatever the musical genre. They have collaborated with Adam F and Malpractice, Andi Sex Gang, Cathy Claret and Finlay Quaye among others.MyOwnGravity have made a name for themselves by partaking in several international festivals and have received acclaimed criticism for their live performances.
