How did we come to this?

All I see is bitterness

When I close my eyes and reminisce

What I see

My vision of the future

Not a single soul free

Please god…don’t let this be

So much murder

And it seems these hunters

Are not scared to take it one step further

But dread not…just believe

Lets keep our eyes on the prize

And together we’ll conquer any hurdle… no matter what the size

To win this fight

We got to persevere through the storm

And what awaits us is a starry night

There’s no time to wait

Lets put our hearts together

Why don’t we see it?

Our lives are in a deadly state

We don’t fear

But at this rate its clear… surely the end is near

It might sound strange

But our lives …we need to change

We need a revolution

We as humans

Need to make helping all creatures

Imagine black, white, brown

Walking together as one

Without the sound of a gun

God wouldn’t that be fun

Regardless of you r colour

It’s got me sad

All this poverty

It’s got me going mad

We’ve got to be out of our mind

Has the world gone blind?

So many dead

Whether over oil or religion

Why all this blood shed

God all these mothers crying

So many babies dying

They ain’t supposed to be on the front line

It might make me a coward

NO fighting

War aint gonna take us forward

I raise my hands and

Bring back brotherhood and love
