A gifted composer/arranger and saxophonist, Susanne Ganser has steadily been catching the attention of industry professionals with her personal and unique combination of music and text. Her debut recording, To Be Human is a revealing journey through eleven songs dealing with love, joy for life, human rights awareness and personal responsibility. Says Susanne, "these songs represent my own struggle to find my place in the world and in music. I have always been moved by the power of words in their ability to crystalize my feelings and help bring clarity to life situations. It has always been my desire to combine such words with music to convey the emotional power they have for me. The texts I use," continues Susanne, "work like affirmations for me, particularly the text by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, which would be an affirmation for anyone, I feel."While a studied jazz musician, Susanne has always been drawn to R & B, World Music and Hip Hop.
