About Me

Initially formed as the brainchild of Jan Freidun as a band project the group has gone through various formations The first one was a trio however the first recording done on minidisc by Jan Freidun Taravosh Anna Bahare Taravosh and Oskar Lundström "song 54 (the story of something else was never transfered from minidisc and is now lost. this was in May 2001, during the following summer Jan Freidun Teamed up with his cousin Pejwak Pouryahya, recorded a number of tunes, (some of which are also lost, partly because of the now defunct homepage terminated by the webhotel company, as no further updates were possible after a computer crash). and since some recording were also made, with Oskar, or Anna separately, as well as one recorded with the aid with one of Anna’s Classmates, SebastianDuring around October 2002 a weekend hoping to be a time for the original line-up to record new material, Jan Freidun also started to experiment with primitive one man band recordings without either good microphones headphones or equipment.. however since this ambition had started early 2004, a final creative creators dream was fulfilled with the getting of an apple Imac computer.the initial one man band project "the interwar years" was the springboard for Jan Freiduns free form creativity, initially meant as a bridge between the formation changes, and to "regain the forces" hence the project name interwar years However this one man band free form self production became sort of a solid base for creative Psychedelic wannabe indie pop and a few steps have been taken from the one man band idea, with aid from Neighbour Mikeal Lindqvist, and again from sister AnnaCurrently the bands concept of musical creativity despite formation changes stand strong and has resulted in many various smaller and bigger concept album demossuch as these InterWar Years (from late december 2003 and from early february to around March April May 04)“we are feeling more depressed every day and we are feeling crazier everyday to" (recorded and mixed around 30th of May- 26 of July 04)A Night out With The Money Losers Orchestra (recorded and mixed circa July-November 04)Imaginary Milkshake Demonstrations recorded between 17th of December 04- 15th of January 05. Some tracks have been recorded in the time between but never found there place into a fitting concept, however the nearly complete “Pop For Pickles” with 5 tracks who have found their place (recorded circa mid august- early November 05)It’s creativity that matters
