Drummer, Matt Garrity has been on the New York City jazz scene
for fifteen years. He has performed with some of the best in the
business, including Vincent Herring, Teri Thornton, David
Williams, Joel Forrester, Jeremy Pelt, Ron McClure, Ben Monder, Percy Jones and Jerome Richardson, among others. Matt has performed all over New York in such notable venues as The Blue Note, Birdland, Smalls, Smoke, The Up Over Jazz Cafe and The Kitano Hotel. In addition to his work as a sideman, Garrity
leads his own group, ACTUAL TRIO.
Matt is also involved in education, and is currently on the faculty at The Turtle Bay Music School in Manhattan.

NEO TRADITION is a brand new band with a truly unique concept and sound. The ensemble takes traditional/ folk music from Italy and performs it in a jazz setting. The quartet features Matt Renzi on tenor saxophone, Pete Smith on guitar, Dave Ambrosio on bass, and Matt Garrity on drums.

Based in Portland, OR, pianist, Clay has released three recordings on the Seattle based Origin Arts record label. He has performed throughout Europe, Scandinavia, the Mediterranean, the South Pacific and Caribbean and Japan. His new album, "Spaceton's Approach" featuring Dave Ambrosio and Matt Garrity, is now available.
