General Interests:
Music, travel, music, reading, music, photography, music, history, music...
Other things I like:
Games and puzzles, red wine, oceans, rivers, trees, driving north, The Far Side, thunderstorms, squishing snack cakes in their cellophanes at the grocery store (everybody needs a hobby...okay, compulsion), tulips, fiddles, my friends and family, red beans & rice, smoking bans in public places (Yaaaaaaaay Scotland!) and, despite the amount of time I spend whining about it, studying Latin
One more thing I like quite a lot: My husband, Martin! Can you believe I left him off my list of likeable things? Pfft. Well, technically, I suppose he is included in "friends and family" but I think he deserves particular mention, 'cause he roxxors. ;) To make up for it, I've put him in my MySpace pic. I'd give you a link to his MySpace page, except he doesn't have one. He has resisted the lure of MySpace! See? Roxxors!
Obsession of the moment: Agh!
First there was Hapland ...Grrr!!
And then... Hapland 2
And now... Hapland 3

I have no time for television. I'm not a television snob...it just takes up too much time. As soon as a commercial comes on, I get bored and wander off. I never finish watching anything, so I rarely even turn it on. When I do turn on my TV, I will watch any kind of game show I come across, no matter how stupid. I will occasionally get DVD boxed sets of shows like '24' and 'Frasier' and watch them all in one go.
These days I hardly have time to read anything except what's assigned to me. Fortunately, I am actually interested in most of these...but for my down-time I like things like "Lord of the Rings" or "Watership Down". I'm also a big fan of Diana Gabaldon's Jamie Fraser [*drool*]and I'm fond of children's fantasy fiction from days gone by ("The Borrowers", "A Wrinkle in Time", etc.). Other favorites: Margaret Atwood, Mary Stewart, anything by Dr. Seuss.
