About Me

I started out as a drummer growing up in Pittsburgh PA, and for a high school kid I was pretty good. I never got any better because I thought I couldn't be taught anything. I really grasped the art of drumming when I purchased my 1st drum machine. Now I can keep a beat! There was always a guitar or piano around the house so when the ADD would normalize I could sit still enough to make some music. As soon as I graduated high school I travelled around playing drums for a southern gospel group based out of West Virginia. That was my least favorite style of music being a drummer growing up listening to music like Yes, Kansas, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Alice Cooper, Jethro Tull, Queen....you can hear the contrast, but I wouldn't trade the music for the people I got to meet along the way. Not to mention having the opportunity to sing everything from bass to tenor. I'm most likely too old to worry about fitting in to a certain category of music so I'll write and record what ever I feel like at the time, so if you like anything I do.....GOD BLESS YA!

My Interests

Music:

Band Members: On the "Angels Like To Party" CD I had Randy Mitchell and myself on rhythm guitar (Randy played the cool stuff). I'm so proud to have Jon Rockwood & Sean Tubbs on lead guitar, master bass player Glenn Holman. Jeff Lams on Keys and making musical arrangements from my over produced 8 track demos, Rob Rinderer & Wendle Morden crankin' on the B-3, and Rich Young and he was at the time of this recording on Drums. "Still My Surfer Girl" I was experimenting with overlaying vocals in the (da) Beach Boy style arrangement. As you can hear I'm back to overproducing. I still kinda like it.
