I started DJing back in 1991 with a regular Friday night session at Ashington Central. This was in the early days of grunge....bands like Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden were exciting the kids....and pissing off the old farts. I moved on to the legendary Newcastle Mayfair about a year later and shared DJ duties with the long time resident John Saunders and another new starter by the name of Little Jeff. We worked together until August 1999 when the Mayfair closed its doors for the last time......in 2001 there was a thing called Rock @ The Arena........in 2005 it disappeared.......I joined the team at Legends at the start of 2006 where I worked on a Friday night with the one and only DJ Richie, right up until the end of 2008.I also play a bit of guitar.
