About Me

Changes.
I'm Jamie. I'm now living in Glasgow with my flatmates Pete and Chris. Finished my post-grad in May and I'mnow a fully signed-up member of the local press corps. Church fetes ahoy.
Got a degree in English Lit at Edinburgh Uni in 2007, where I managed to rob a 2.1.
I listen to a lot of music in all genres but tend to return more often to experimental and hardcore-influenced bands. I write music reviews and have a metal-based column in The Skinny, a freesheet paper available in Edinburgh, Dundee and Glasgow.
I play bass in Hamilton-based alcoholic grindcore layabouts The Black Chain. One day, we'll gig a bit more.
Shout outs to the best guys in the world to knock beers with (in no particular order): Porterfield, MO, Ahkmed, Therapist, Ramsay, Granto, Jamesy, Addison, Steele, Cookie, Dan, Hansson, Rab, Brettles, Knowlesy (on the J2O), Willetts, Whitson, Ally G, Rossco, Prankmonkey, Gig, Buffalo Bill, Chewy, Mozzer (strictly cola), Tazio, Hartmann, Narrie, Animal, Sandy, Gazza, Urie, Kud, Guss, Sam, Hartmann, Stu, Thomson, Linz, McInnes, Jack, Pauric, Jak, Jhed, Tim, Tony, Colin, Simon, Emo Tam, Lunchbox, Cosanostra, Kourny, Bazzo, Iain McD, Sean, Ryan, Pete, Chris, Simon C, Dave S, Dave J, Andy H and everycunt else I've totally forgotten....... width="425" height="350" ..
