I'm looking to lead a life more interesting. I'm currently in a band called "Cymbr". I'm a singer/writer. I started writing lyrics around age 12.. never imagined that I could be a decent singer. But, much to my shock, I've been told I sound like Avril Lavigne, Amy Lee (of Evanescence), Lacey Mosley (of Flyleaf), Shirley Manson (of Garbage) Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morissette, and Fiona Apple. I'm not sure I believe any of that. I guess that's where the trouble lies, I have no confidence.. yet. I have the most amazing bandmates- Lisa (guitar), Josh (bass), and Brandon (drums).. who are also great friends. We currently have around 25 covers, and have written 4 original songs, with more in the works. Overcoming my fear of singing in front of someone. Guess I have to achieve that before I can get to the main goal of being in a successful band.
