My Interests

music (making, playing, listening, talking about...) and whatever is going on in general.

I'd like to meet:

passionate people.

Music:

MY TUNES: (Listen and comment)"http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandI D=322927"quick histgram...age 3-8 (Carpentars, Raffi, early Beatles, Free to Be)..age 8-13 (radio pop all 80's..Simply Minds, Beastie Boys, Men Without Hats, Tears for Fears...) age 13-17 (Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Jane's Addiction, Metallica, all classic rock, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Doors, Yes, Megadeth, Sepultura, Pantera, Joe Satriani)...age 17-now (jam bands Greatful Dead, Widespread Panic, Phish, 311...Ween, Pharcyde, A Tribe Called Quest)...and at 19 I FOUND MY CALLING electronic music RISES.....I haven't gotten enough since the first rinse... mostly into DnB and anything with a staggered beat...I really just appreciate good composition no matter the genre or style of music as a whole.....So I've gotten enough of the straight DnB for now. I'm in a Steely Dan phase! (King of the World and Rose Darling are favorites)**Oh it's all back....refinding my love for old darkness like Panacea, Dillinja, all of Platinum Breaks, and a bunch of Ambush!)

Movies:

Delicatessen, City of the Lost Children, the Hobbit, Star Wars, Schlindler's List, A River Runs Through, Good Will Hunting, The Natural, some anime, SLC Punk, -=Dark Side of Oz=-

Television:

Mystery Science Theater 3000, Monty Python anything, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Daily Show

Books:

eh...like 5 in my life...wish I wasn't easily distractable...but I have read The Celestine Prophecy, the Tolkein books, The Four Agreements and the power of now by Eckart Tolle, and a couple about Zen buddism and the Dali Lama...well that's it for the books...

Heroes:

professional musicians and people that follow their heart

body<->mind

Someone said that you seem different like you can and are talking with one thought at a time.  I was rather astonished but thankful because I have been meditating and it's starting to show. ...
