Kapt´n Crunch is a group of funky cat´s, who have been up n round the music scene in Finland, since 1994. The band was formed when Jfatal, Akon and Maigl Sydäri got together to play a mixture of hiphopfunkrock. Inspired by the likes of Beastie Boys, 311, Prince, RATM and different kinds of funk music, they started the quest of playing music that would be fun and hard-hitting, and that people could dance/groove to! The first installment of KC4, was Akon on the pipes, Maigl on the drums, Jfatal on guitars, Alwin on Percussion and Beiss on beiss.After couple of years and several demos it was evident that we needed another guitar player and J.U.H.A. was called in..Beiss left the band in 1999 and Jaakko joined in. We recorded our first and o n l y professional EP in 2001, after which KC did a couple of shows and then split up..During these years we have re-formed to play in different parties etc..But after one formidable gig this June, we decided that it was time to re-group, and play a gig for you fans one more time...Well, maybe a couple of!!To us, KC4 music has always been about having fun and making people feel good, weather they are headbanging or funking it up on the dance floor!This is how it´s going down !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)
