Reported by Spencer Selph--The first screening of the Indy film occurred at, Fitzgerald’s, for a captivated audience. Stacy Davidson, the Director on the project, simply showed part of what he envisions as the perfect “horror†film. Influenced by the HORROR movies of directors’ Argento, Romero, and Fulci. Davidson strives to incorporate suspense and realism to keep his audience glued to their seats.
The movie follows a group of radio station DJ’s broadcasting from a haunted house in which mayhem occurs. The actors and actresses are from various parts of the city and state, all very talented in their own right. The Necrophobia soundtrack will only feature local talented musicians who have their own compositions to further the eerie nature of the setting.---Zombies, a drifter, and a serial murderer are only a fraction of the different elements in Necrophobia. It shouldn’t be regarded as the typical “scream flick†as Davidson’s direction provides for a gripping plot, great sound effects, and graphic make-up for the project.--After we were shown brief clips from the movie, Davidson got a standing ovation from the crowd. We weren’t able to get enough of what we viewed as the evolving of a top-notch horror movie. Necrophobia, is slated to be released in October 2005, so be prepared to have the hell scared outta you!!!!
