The Day The Earth Stood Still
27 year old mother of one crazy 6 year old boy and one girl due August 31st. I love music and love singing. I cook when I feel like it. I am an artist. Went to school in Tecumseh, MI for a long while. Loved my experiences there, somewhat mourn the ones I missed because of my strict parents. Looking to go back to school and get a degree in something. I know, that sounds bad, but I have a passion for several subjects and still not sure what I should do. Anthropology, Sociology, Sculpture, Film, Writing, and some other things are some of my main interests, which could go to something like Museum Curator, Art Director, or several other things. Why can't I make up my mind?
Not looking to use Myspace for anything besides a way to keep in contact with my friends. Please do not send me messages or attempt to friend me if I don't know you and you are just adding me because you ran across me doing a random search. I'm not mean, really, just not into that whole add a billion people thing. If you think I might not remember who you are (slight possibility, but I can damned well almost remember everyone in my High School graduating year) feel free to send me a message when you add me. Please, no more single dads who cannot string together a proper paragraph or sentence, I weep for your children.
I will add bands that I preview and enjoy. I am definitely a music whore... or am I the pimp? Anyway, I like to make mix cds and send them out to friends and get them hooked. I like all sorts of music (not as much country or rap though... sorry... just not my thing). I am currently enjoying pimping out Treaty of Paris' music. Check out the bands in my friends, I think they are interesting... obviously or else I wouldn't have added them.
People often swear they know me or met me before (right, Mike ? ;) ). I guess I'm an old soul and I don't mind as much. And, no my name is not Emily (that's what most people who swear they know me call me!).
Scary work thing(from GH)... One of the guys at work brought a customer to my line and said "Here you go. This is Amy, everyone's favorite sunshine, she will help you out." *points up at tagline* Scary! (Old tagline was "Everyone's sunshine.")
I enjoy hugs, hanging out with friends and keeping people sane at work. Give me a person I can talk to and I feel at home. Give me someone who can see me for who I am and I feel loved. Give me time and patience and gain my adoration. Encourage me and view my strengths. Treat me with respect and receive the same. Help me on my path and gain inspiration. Treat this muse well and she will give you what she can.
I head cashier for Home Depot. It's crazy, but it's better than some of the crap jobs I've had. I've met many people through working for this company and enjoy learning from each one.
